Hometown fest! Veronas #1 annual event

Verona is the place to be this weekend.  Verona Home Town Days.  Yes this weekend June 9-12, Verona chooses to celebrate.  

If you have never been before, this is one of the best community festivals in the area.  Very festive. Starting on Thursday evening with a grand opening and fireworks.  Here is a run down of the highlights.  

Friday June 10th  5pm 

the carnival and food/beer tents.  - (straight after work)

 Lots of stuff for kids - coin dig, spin the wheel, bingo, softball tournament.

And of course live music, Rachelle and the Red Hot Rattlers

Saturday June 11th

carnival, inflatables, magic man, clowns,

Home sales hit spring market.

It appears that the housing market in Madison Wi is heating up.

So say reports from the field.  Open houses are getting more traffic, and even some offers.  Realtor showings, are up too.   This is a really good bell weather as home buyers only call a Realtor when they are serious.

 

We are hearing of multiple offers on some homes.  And we are hearing the word profit and profit share banded around the office for the first time in long time.

So we know the market activity is here.

 

Spring market is a good thing.   Very reassuring, for home sellers in Madison Wisconsin. 

But a warning to home sellers.  Just because the homes are starting to move, doesn’t mean that you can again ask what you want.

 

The very homes that are selling are the ones correctly priced at time of listing.  Others on the market are not getting the traffic and not getting offers.  

If your home is on the market and you are not getting action, it is likely price.  And if you are just about to go on the market, don’t be too bold. Prices have not risen since a month ago.  There are still too many homes on the market and too many foreclosures and short sales.  For more advice: Sell My Home Madison.

 

Remember, if you miss the spring market because you reach too far, you will miss the best sales market of the year.  That of course being the case in Madison Wi.
