Verona is the place to be this weekend. Verona Home Town Days. Yes this weekend June 9-12, Verona chooses to celebrate.
If you have never been before, this is one of the best community festivals in the area. Very festive. Starting on Thursday evening with a grand opening and fireworks. Here is a run down of the highlights.
Friday June 10th 5pm
the carnival and food/beer tents. - (straight after work)
Lots of stuff for kids - coin dig, spin the wheel, bingo, softball tournament.
And of course live music, Rachelle and the Red Hot Rattlers
Saturday June 11th
carnival, inflatables, magic man, clowns,
12.30 Tractor pull.
2pm Wall of Art
8.30, Beer Tent and live music by Cherry Pie.
Sunday June 12th
get up early for the 25th annual fun fun. Race starts at 9am.
Classic car show
12pm, Hometown parade.
Lots of other family events
The weekend is topped off with a performance by Pat McCurdy, 2-4pm
