Leadership learnings

This year I am the President of the Wisconsin Chapter of the CRS. Certified Real Estate Specialists. This is the premier designation of residential Realtors. It is the hardest designation to achieve because it requires the most training and also years of experience. So much so that only 3% of agents have the Designation and 700 in Wisconsin.

So this last weekend, we had our transition meeting. I was handed the reigns.
This weekend did not come without a huge amount of planning and preparation. My team first had to recruit members to double the size of the team.

Second to develop a way to increase our efficiency of the meetings while training and putting the volunteers to their potential. My Chairs and officers arose to the occasion and I was delighted to see the meeting took off with a bang.

What amazed me was the energy and enthusiam that surfaced in the group. We were able to unleash a huge amount of experience and ability in our new members. We have empowered our committees to delegate and function at a high level. Look for this group to go places this year.

I have never ever done anything like this before, the learning curve was steep, but the experience has been exceptional.
