Here I sit at an exciting time in my Real Estate Career.
I have had a challenging year. A year of tremendous personal growth. A year of growing our 1 year old market center (read office) of which I am a part owner.
I am heading to New Orleans as the incoming President for our Wisconsin CRS chapter. Council of Residential Specialists. This is the best part of a week in business meetings, but there is some time for play, I will admit. Also next Thursday, I will be helping to rebuild New Orleans.
This is a massive effort by the National Association of Realtors to do something for the area. They have invited all of the 20,000 attendees to spend a day working. If just 25% volunteer, that is 5,000 days, in the space of a week. I am happy to be part of that effort.
Another challenge for next month is the start of Camp 4-4-3. This is a 6 week intensive course on the nuts of bolts of Real Estate.
Finally, on the fun side, I will be holding our annual client appreciation event this weekend. I am really fortunate that my wife is the main organizer and it has been a great success for over 10 years. For 5 years we have had a Guy Fawkes celebration, meaning a bonfire. It is a lot of fun, but hard work too.
Finally, over the last 3 weeks, I have taken time to volunteer for a phone bank for political purposes. I will leave you to guess which persuasion I hold. May be different to what you may think. (Suffice to say- Change is a good thing this time round)
So that is it for now. Is that enough? Let me know what your challenges are for next week.
Guy
