Never let anyone tell you that real estate is the "same old" or that once you have the licence, you are set. I often meet agents who laugh when I ask them about more training, one actually said, I know it all anyway, or very close to that. Wow!
I never stop training, I never stop coming up with new or unique situations where I have to pull from recent learnings or find a totally new way to deal with a situation.
I was referred to a listing about 1.5 hours away from me. I know it is outside my expertise, but the owner wants a big city representative. I could not find a majoy player any closer so I am going in there with a co lister. He is the local knowledge and I am the experience and marketing savvy. I'd say that is a win-win.
I have a busy schedule next week, amongst items, a Marketing analysis, rescuing a deal after a mediocre inspection, a listing appointment, an initial seller meeting, meeting with a great agent in another company to exchange ideas, (possibly recruit)
I am running a training on working with Buyers and attending about 3 other hours of training and 3 hours of phone calls. Oh boy!!!
Any one want to be a real estate agent?
If you are one, is this normal for you?
