Here is what we found.
- Schools: we love the schools, the fact that there are quality public schools, and an additional choice of public "charter" schools" (not charter in the Walker - kill the union sense) They are actually part of the public schools, but provide 3 very nice options for any family.
- Parks and out door activities: there is a plethora of parks. from the regular neighborhood parks to the Ceniti baseball field, Ice Age train, Reddan soccer park and Badger Prairie county park. 2 dog parks, the Military bike path, the firemans park and beach.
- Library: We enjoy the new library. They strive to provide entertainment for all. And the Building is a positive feature for the town too.
- Miller's Grocery store. It is unusual for a grocery store to make this list, but Millers is Special. The mainstay of Main Street. It is a great store complete with an army of baggers. Half of Verona grew up working at Miller's. It is on the list because it is an incredible supporter of the community.
- Lots of other stuff. there is so much other neat stuff, to wrap up in one point. Rhapsody, not for profit music school. the ice arena, 2 main street coffee shoppes. lots of super local small businesses. My favorite restaurant, Cuco's mexican, love Grays tied house.
