As you can see, the average list price of homes for sale is slowly rising especially since May. This is to be expected in a normal year. What is not expected is a huge run up in home sale prices from month to month. I just attribute that to Verona being a smallish community and a few higher priced homes selling tend to skew the figures.
Anyway, you can see there were 247 active listings at a median price of $320,000
Another key point to consider is the very low distressed listings number (4%). Distressed listings, (short sale or bank owned) tend to depress the market. So a low number mean the market has cleared them out and now we can move forward with out that drag on home prices.
